Up = depressing movie

This time of year Andy and I like to try to watch as many Golden Globe and Oscar nominated movies as we can. Yesterday, we rented 500 Days of Summer and Up. Tonight, we thought we would watch Up with Katie. We have tried to watch Cinderella, and other Disney movies with Katie and she will usually watch for a little bit and then go play with her toys. Tonight we had to turn off Up because Katie started crying hysterically at the part when the dogs fall into the river and float away. She was really worried about the puppies, and we had to assure her that they were swimming, and then she was worried about Lucy, she was so sad :(

We had heard how sad this movie was from some people, but I don't think we thought it would be that bad. However, the movie Up, was super depressing! Miscarriage, death, deadbeat dads, heroes that don't amount to much, the hero who killed the visitors, someone's home being taken away, urban sprawl, Andy and I were shocked by how sad this story was.

Not quite the kids movie we were hoping for.....

a few pictures from the iphone

my camera is still out of commission, so here are a few pictures from the iphone from the past few weeks. The picture of her in the diaper had to be retaken because when I showed Katie the first picture she told me, "take it again and show my shoes." So we had to take another picture showing the shoes.

Katie got bitty twins for Christmas and she loves the boy baby. She loves her babies and loves to be a mother.
